Sovune Nudge silent vibrating alarm wristband

Sovune Nudge vs Soovie: Vibrating Alarm Wristbands Compared

Sovune and Soovie both sell a silent vibrating alarm wristband in Australia, and the names are close enough that people mix them up. This guide puts the two side by side: how each band works, shipping, returns and warranty, and who each one suits.

The short answer: the two bands do the same job in a similar way. Both are standalone wristbands with three alarms, about 14 days of battery and no app. The differences are in what comes with the purchase. The Sovune Nudge ships free from Melbourne, has a 12-month warranty and can be returned after you've worn it. Soovie ships internationally and also sells a sleep mask and earplugs.

We make the Sovune Nudge, a vibrating alarm wristband, so we're not neutral. Everything about Soovie below comes from soovie.com.au as it read on 5 October 2026. Details change, so check their site before you buy.

What's the same

If you're choosing between these two, you've already picked the right kind of alarm. Both bands:

  • Wake you with vibration on your wrist, so nobody else in the room hears anything.
  • Work on their own. You set the alarm on the band, with no app or phone.
  • Hold three alarms, which suits rosters, naps and backups.
  • Last about two weeks per charge.
  • Come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Where they differ

Shipping

The Sovune Nudge ships free on every Australian order. It leaves our Melbourne warehouse within one business day and takes 2 to 4 business days to most capital cities.

Soovie lists standard Australian delivery at $4.95 and 6 to 10 business days, with free shipping on orders over $100. Soovie also ships to New Zealand, the United States, Canada and other countries. We only ship within Australia, so if you're overseas, Soovie is the one you can order.

Returns

Both offer 30 days. With Sovune you pay the return postage for a change of mind, and Soovie's FAQ says the same. The conditions differ:

  • Sovune: you can return the Nudge after wearing it. It needs to come back complete, with the charger, and in undamaged working order. Ordinary signs of use are fine.
  • Soovie: their refund policy asks for the item to be in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, and lists some exclusions. Read it before you order.

A vibrating alarm is something you have to sleep with to judge, so check that the return conditions let you do that. See do vibrating alarms work for heavy sleepers?

Warranty

Every Sovune Nudge has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults, and we cover return postage on warranty claims.

We couldn't find a warranty period stated on Soovie's site. Whichever you buy, the Australian Consumer Law gives you rights that can't be excluded.

Water

The Nudge is fine in the shower and the rain, but it isn't made for swimming. Soovie describes its band as splash-resistant (IPX4), and its FAQ says to remove it before bathing.

What else they sell

Soovie sells a sleep mask and earplugs alongside the band, which is handy if you want all three in one order. We only make the Nudge. If you're a day sleeper, both are worth having: see do sleep masks work? and how to wake up with earplugs in.

Which one should you choose?

Quick answers

Are Sovune and Soovie the same company? No. They're two separate businesses with similar names that both sell a vibrating alarm wristband in Australia.

What is the difference between Sovune and Soovie? The bands work in a similar way. The main differences are shipping (Sovune is free from Melbourne, Soovie ships internationally), return conditions, warranty and water resistance.
