That's what the escalating vibration is for. It doesn't buzz once and stop — it steps up through three intensity levels over a full minute. You can switch it off sooner. Will it wake my partner?
It makes no sound at all, so there's nothing for them to hear. They'd only know if they happened to be touching your wrist at the time.
Is it suitable if I'm deaf or hard of hearing?

Does the display stay on all night?
No. The display lights when you press the button and switches off again, so there's nothing glowing in the room while you sleep.
Can I shower or swim with it?
Take it off before you shower or swim. It doesn't have a water-resistance rating, so keep it dry.
Will it fit me?

Is it a fitness tracker?
No. It doesn't count steps, monitor your heart rate or track your sleep. It's an alarm that also tells the time, which is why one charge lasts up to 14 days.
Can't I just use my smartwatch's silent alarm?
You can, and some people do. Many smartwatches give a short buzz and need charging every day or two, often overnight, which is exactly when you need the alarm.
